can i take sterling travellers cheques to cyprus and change them?
normally just take few pounds exchenged to get me by first night/morning and then sterling trav cheques for rest of time (usually go to majorca)..is this okay in cyprus (never been)

Travellers cheques are perfect in Cyprus - lots of people are of different opinions onthe best way to take money(cash/cheques/ATM) but I take cheques and change them with no problem at all - also safe inthe knowledge I am covered if anyting happens to them.

Yes TCs are fine but we always take cash and change it over there as the
exchange rate is better for cash
Don't change your cheques or cash in the hotel as you'll get a better rate outside.
