I do not take my lap top but go to an internet cafe a couple of times to send e mails to family and to log on here.
I usually do this while my husband watches football in a bar.

When I went to Ireland last year for 10 days I checked my email once every morning and once every night on my iphone. When I got my mobile bill it cost me £25 extra on my bill!

I did in Gran Canaria because it was just too hot to be around the pool sometimes. I checked emails and then checked out holidays for 2011 while I was there :tup

No. Just like no tv and no newspaper! I like to be away from everything. The only thing I do when I am away is phone my mum and dad as I can't go a few days even without speaking to them.

I tend to check the forums I frequent every day on my phone to be honest when away. It costs a bit, but luckily I'm pay as you go so I know what I am spending. I tend to put about £20 or so on before I go away and only go on briefly onto forums and yes you guessed it facebook. The only time last holiday (to Ireland) I used a computer to check the internet was on the ferry going home, but I could only manage about 10 minutes or so than because it made me dizzy :rofl

Yes, my laptop goes with me everywhere as we sell online so need to keep up with correspondence.

A wifi hotspot is always at the top of my list when searching for accommodation.
