Steve ... it looks as though the company name has been picked up by the filter, most likely due to previous spamming on the forums.

Lol it took me ages to work out where my post had gone, I had to do a search to find it. Name changed for some reason.

Steve ... as suspected, the name was automatically filtered following suspicion over previous messages posted from Turkey by someone associated with the company. You spelled it slightly differently in your second post, hence the filter has ignored it.

I can't find any trace of the company ever having been mentioned on the forums before by holidaymakers, but only by the member who was associated with it.

Thanks Guys.

The prices seem really good but can get the same accom for £10 more with a well known company so think I would rahter pay the extra and have peace of mind. Seems abit strange to me that they take payment by paypa for the deposit, and then you pay the extra to a rep on arrival sounds odd to me hence why I asked for advice. Last thing I want is getting there and the hotel haveing no record of us.

Thanks again

No idea about the company other than what it shows on their site but the use of Paypal isn't that suspicious in itself.
They seem to be a Turkish company who deal in accomodation, transfers and excursions - they won't be bonded or subject to EU rules. Paypal would be a simple way of transfering money without the customer incurring the usually high British bank charges on foreign transfers. It's also a way of making a card payment without disclosing your card details to the other side. I suspect this will become more and more common as a way of dealing with small businesses. Paypal do offer some customer protection but not sure how much, I've only used it through ebay - anyone like to chip in here??

That said, for only £10 extra you may as well stick with someone you know.

I have used paypal to pay for other things, and usually pay for transfers that way with a compnay I use. But just never heard of accomodation being paid for by paypal, but you are probably right this will become more common. I just posted on here to see if anyone had used them and if they had, and had a positive experience then I would of used them.

But I have booked now with a more well known company.

hello from holiday 2 heaven.
The reason we use paypal is exactly what you mentioned, that it is easier for both my company and the client for payment.

The reason we offer clients to pay 10% through paypal is because of lower commision rates from our side to paypal. Once the client has arrived to thier destination we take full payment cash in hand but never ask for any more monies that we had agreed on, which is printed on the voucher the client received upon booking the holiday.

Also as you can imagine we are taking great risk with offering just 10% deposit for hotel and full payment for airport transfer but we like to make a trustworthy relationship with our guests.

This is just our procedure as we are a new company but we offer very good prices for accommodation and transfers and look after our guests as soon as they arrive to the time they depart.

Hi

Thanks for explaining this to me. I wasn't putting your company down I was just wondering if anyone has heard of you, as you can't be to careful in this day and age with companies going bust, and people just looking to make a quick sale without offering a service.

I will definately bare you in mind for future holidays.

Welcome Ellie .... unfortunately Holidays2Heaven appears not to have visited our site in over 2 years, at least not under that username.

You could perhaps try emailing info@holiday 2 heaven.com (remove spaces) as that is one of the addresses used by them.

Good luck.

one reason why there isn't a phone number is that they are based in Turkey and much of the booking process will be automated. So not many staff and maybe not much English spoken.

What exactly are you going to tell Paypal? I'm not 100% on their rules but I don't think you can demand a refund if you change your mind about what you order.

the first number has a UK access code but is in a batch allocated to Cable & Wireless (for specialist business use) rather than a proper local exchange, if it is them I'm guessing it diverts calls to Turkey. The second number has a US access code and is somewhere in Westchester, New York State.
