We will have to get up nice and early 4.30 am to get on the road to Luton Airport from South Leicestershire by 5.00 am, this is on a Thursday so there will be some work traffic on the M1 so I would think hour and a half to get to the airport.
We have booked to park on Green Parking on airport, I think this is only a sort walk to the terminal, this gives us plenty of time to find the Thomson desk and book in, then up stairs belt and shoes off check our bag and hope we don't set the buzzer off, then time for some breakfast.
After that its a look round all the shops, bit early for me to have a beer some perhaps another cup of coffee send a few texts to let the kids know we are on the way, and then on the plane for a 8.50 am take off, window seat booked.
So here we are now at Faro Airport 11.40 am stand round to get our bags hope it won't be to long, then out in the heat to find the Thomson Rep and what bus we are on about 12.30 pm, just hope we don't have to wait to long for the bus to fill up and when it does of we go, see them men and women still looking up at the sky at the first roundabout and then down the N125 to Albufeira.
If all goes well should be at the Brisa Sol for 1.45 pm, book in and get our Studio on the side with a view of the Super Market and if we are lucky on the right there may even be a view of the sea a long way off.
So unpack our cases, say 45 minutes get me shorts and flip flops on and a walk past the car park of the super market and into the bar/cake shop on the corner for that first beer of the holiday, a cold bottle of Super Bock, Mmmmmmm I can feel it slipping down now and a sandwich. I may have just one more then its of to the super market for some bits for breakfasts, milk and a few bottles for the fridge, so it may be about 4 pm now so may have to have a bit of a rest to get ready for the first night out.
So hear we are 7 pm all ready to hit the town got a list of 18 restaurants not going to have that many nights to try them all as we only got 14, some of them we will go more than once, but tonight we will kick of in the Brasil bar just at the back of the Town Hall if it is still there and from here we are going to try the Adega do David next to were Floyds bar was just got to hope it is as good as they say. so after a good meal and some wine perhaps a bica and a brandy may just have one more in the Brasil bar and call it a night as it has been a long old day.
