as i understand this card, it is a top up card for those on bb or half board to be able to get the free drinks/cheap trips to medieval night and dancing night/ use of courtesy bus to other hotels.
if you are AI i dont think you get any benefits by buying this card.
the silver card just lets you have free drinks with meals, and again is an upgrade from HB that youy get anyway as AI.
the branded drinks in Htop hotels that i have come across ie smirnoff instead of local vodka and irn bru free are in such short supply as to not be worth getting involved with.

I am diabetic so drink diet coke which cost a euro at the Royal SUn when I was there a couple of years ago - so thought it could be worth it

in all my trips to HTOP hotels, they have always had diet cola on tap and it is usually ok -especially in vodka .
