this hotel is due to shut on sunday for 10 days, to give the staff a holiday.
i was booked in for 5 days, but i got the choice of moving to royal beach on sunday for 1 night or going there for 5 nights.
as i dont want to have to pack and move at some ungodly hour on sunday morning for 1 night i have reluctantly gone to royal beach. i am not impressed, as i much prefer the location and facilities at the royal star.
fyi, the royal beach only has 1 english tv channel - CNN news, while the royal star has bbc1,bbc2 and usually itv.
edit - it seems that there was a problem with the aerials and they now have bbc1 and 2 available
this was a complete pain on wednesday as i wanted to watch the football in the hotel rather than going to the pub, as being a good scotsman i cannot usually stop laughing at the english teams efforts.
still at least im on holiday.
lloret is dead at the moment with most of the bars shut.
