I think there are a few but not many, or a 3 euro taxi you can go to los gigantes which apparently offers more choice. We are also going to this hotel in December so let me know how you get on.

Just returned on 3rd september after 2 weeks. Excellent hotel. There are a couple of bars and a few restaurants on playa la arena beachfront plus you will also find a few in both puerto santiago and los gigantes. Although playa la arena beachfront is well within walking distance(downhill), you will probably need a taxi to puerto santiago and los gigantes- only 3 euros.

Went to this hotel for half term week. Had a fabulous time. We went into Puerto Santiago a couple of times. 3 euros in taxi. Had lovely meal in San Francisco restaurant and great night out at Route 66.

Just returned from here Hotel is good and like BB said it's a short downhill walk to P Arena and they offer a good few choices.
