Stayed at the Mareva in 2000, found them to be very good basic accomodation well run by the family that owned them. Babis the guy that looked after the pool and grounds cleaned the pool daily so it was spotless. They're about halfway between the main drag along the coast through the town of Hersonnisos and the upper old town, we headed up there most nights as it was a more enjoyable experience with good resteraunts and bars. I appreciate lots may have changed since we were there but i'd quiet happily stay there again.
