Can comment on car driving in Spain. Usually never a major problem although you need to always try and be aware of all other vehicles around you and in general expect the unexpected. Use of indicators seem to be more on a voluntary basis and road junctions are not always well marked. Similarly exits can be sign posted right on the exit which can cause some crazy moving around especially dare i say by tourists.

Motorways are usually fairly quiet apart from around major town areas and locals do drive fast and have an annoying habit of driving very very close to you - so dont brake too hard!

When parking try and park in spaceous area. They will always try and get a car in a snall space and if it means nudging your bumper to do so - they will do it!

Hope this helps - do not be put off - driving in Spain can be fun and gives you the opportunity to see the country at its best.
