Hello everyone,

Me and my girlfried are going to Barcelona for a week starting from the 17th of this month and are planning to stay in the city itself for some 4 days and than doing some day trips to destinations close by such as the Montserrat, Pyrenees and the Costa Brava.
Now about the Costa Brava, we want to visit those amazing picturesque secluded small coves set amongst rugged pine covered cliffs cascading down to meet the crystal clear waters of the Mediterranean Sea, but we dont know where to find them and we are also dependent on public transportation which makes searching even harder.
We thought visiting Dali's museum in Figueres and than going over to Cadaques at Cap de Creus resort but i think the view there is a bit different according to all the pictures i saw (for some reason there are no trees there!!!), we have also heard that Tamariu is very lush with green pines but from pictures i saw it lacks those beautiful secluded coves.
We are realy afraid that if we try looking for those coves ourselves, when we dont know where they are, we would just waste our precious time on our vacation.
Does anyone know where we could find those beautiful secluded coves im talking about? and if they can be reached by means of public transportation? and is it possible to visit them on a day's trip, or should we stay in the Costa or Girona for the night?
