I've been to a spa called Magma in Santa Coloma.. (They have a nice website, also in English, but I can't post links... Sorry. But am sure you can find it through google..)

Basically, there's a whole bunch of different pools, some heated, some not, indoors, outdoors, saunas, hot tubs, etc... And you pay a flat rate for 3 hours there. They also offer treatments, but can't vouch for that, never had one. The restaurant isn't bad... actually, compared to most 'buffet' restaurants at your typical AI hotel, this is positively awesome. :)
Costa Brava guide (.com) seems to have a few good links to the spas around that area if you have a look there.

The area around Santa Coloma is known for its spa waters. And in Caldes de Malavella, Vichy is one of the best mineral waters around these parts. I haven't been to their spa - but the building looks amazing when we drive past!

As you have a car, might be good to take advantage to reach all the places that a lot of folks who are stuck on the coast can't access.

Hope this helps.
