I am thinking about book a weeks holiday at the sheraton la caleta in Adeje for the end of Jan. Could any tell me what the hotel is really like and let me know if there are any bars / resturants in the immediate area? Also, how far is it to shopping areas etc..

One thing not mentioned in that thread is the hotel itself. What is your opinion of it? I am particulaly keen to hear your thoughts as you live in the area! How does it compare to the Costa Adeje and the RUI?

Only been in once or twice. Its V posh, quiet, sophisticated and brand new. I would say slightly posher than the Riu hotels nearby.
