From a very quick look on a few websites, the other major tour operators only appear to offer flights into Bourgas airport.

Cheers Baldur .........We love Bulgaria & the friends we have made over in Varna. But we cannot be bothered with the hassle that goes with Balkan holidays 1 yr in 4 has been hassle free & to tell you the truth we have had our fill of it .....so unless another tour operator fly out of Glasgow/Prestwick it'll be somewhere different next year.

Got hooked have you, those wretched Bulgarians and their lousy country?!

Trouble is, eta B'lgaria (shrug). I think that sometimes the problems are inherently just plain lovable Bulgaria, and other companies I know have similar problems there from time to time.

Balkan is the leader there with the best choices of hotels and flights, even if the flight schedule is sometimes more theoretical than reality.

Anyway, have a great time this year, and it would be most interesting to know why your original booking to the Yavor apartments fell through.
