Got a good tip about calling home using the "taxiphones", the main ones (and clean) are in the fountain area, as you enter half way round on the right is the Africa shop, go in and there are about 6 call booths (with a wee seat inside to make you comfy) All very simple to use, a 5min call to Spain/uk cost about 2dt 50 - much cheaper than using your mobile to call home. There were none at the port side working.
