It looks very likely that we will return to gozo next year too Brian. Loved it

We went May 19th Brian and the weather was lovely

We are back end of March, been before at that time and the islands were lovely as all the Spring flowers were out and everywhere was a lush green and covered with brightly coloured flowers, weather wise it was pleasantly warm during the day although cooler at night.

April / May / June is a nice time if you can go then Brian, not as hot or busy as July & August, the end of the year is also nice around september / october.

PS I think you have missed your return date of 1013 unless you are indeed a time traveller

I don't think we'd have liked it in July/August tbh. It would have been way too hot (was getting hotter by the day when we left 2nd June) plus I wouldn't have liked the crowds. The traffic was bad enough in certain area's without 1000's of more tourists adding to it. Many of the locals told us we'd come at the one of the best times and warned us to stay clear of the height of the summer

We went the last two weeks in July, spent the first week on Gozo and the second week on Malta. I loved both I guess it was the contrast.

What I cam on to say though was that it was mega hot and if I had the chance would go back in either May, June or possibly September although I guess the later would still be very hot. Only went when we did as had school aged kids at the time. It was also very busy on Malta last week July.

Mum and Dad are still thinking of going back for their month in February which means no doubt we will be popping over for about a week sometime then too.

Need some inspiration on a place to visit for the day while we're there....
