a while since I was there.
A little more expensive then some resorts, but so are some others.
as far as euros, I imagine that they are happy to accept their own currency.
One of the reasons for them accepting Euros in the shops/restaurants is so that they can give a poor rate, so they will obviuosley prefer euros to liras and make a profit on the exchange.

But I bet they won't refuse liras :)

I went to Side in May 2011. Outside the all inclusive resorts, it's supprisingly expensive. One of the main reasons is that the Germans don't really barter so the shop keepers aren't really interested in bartering with the Brits.

The main currency is Euros, with Lira and Sterling following in that order, again, reflecting the German dominance in the area.

Not the most inspiring reply, but an honest up to date one, hope it helps.
