If I remember correctly T&G are on a road that is two raods back from the beach, if my memory serves me correctly they would be about 5mins from beach & 5-10 mins from Point Centre.

Is Point centre near the beach front bars and where they do boat trips etc?

Point Centre is on the main road that runs at the back of the beach.

If you look at the following map, T&G is about number 50 and Long Beach is about number 39, Point Centre being about number 15, the bazar is down near Tansas, Bar Street runs somewhere down the back of there but there are plenty of restaurants and shops everywhere else too.

Hope this may help you make a choice, not sure how old the map is though.

thanks for the map thats really useful. i am still not sure where to stay.. im pretty sure that T and G are in a better location but are more expensive.

I've never stayed in either but have stayed very close to both, I would say that Long Beach might be a bit nearer the main centre of town but using the dolmus town is easy to reach. Have you looked at the reviews?

t g apartments are next to the mad hatters just of the main road the kibele hotel is across from the mad hatters great location 5 minutes to the beach

I have an idea where they are now, thanks.
Not sure if i will need to stay there now as my hubby has managed to find somewhere that is a bargain for the whole summer.. but ill deffo keep them in mind if that falls through.
