Hello all,

I am a new user but however I have used this site in the past for information and found it really helpful when travelling.

I recently booked a holiday for Tenerife PDLA for a week in April. I have never been to Tenerife or any Canary Island for that matter.

I have done plenty of research on location of my hotel etc and quite content I have made a right choice that suits me... However I just have some questions regarding the obvious questions, which is the weather. Reading various review I am quite confident that I will get some sunshine on 1-8 April, I was just wondering how long the sun is out for. I read somewhere you will get 6.5 hours of sunshine in April so between what hours are they? And around what temps will it reach?

Also one last question, I am 22 and travelling with my boyfriend and read about the Veronicas Strip, so its good to see somewhere that we can go to if we fancy a bit of a clubbing night. Can you tell me if it is quite busy in April time, or will PDLA be quite dead... I am not expecting it to be as busy as say the mid May - August period but some life would obviously be good.
