I'm lead to believe Crystal Ski (Thomson) have pulled out of Lapland. I spent a week in a log cabin in Yllas with them in December 2008 and think last winter was their last season. I'm not sure why, but I suspect loads were low apart from the usual Christmas rush.

I thought so too but can't understand why they are still in the First Choice main brochure but no available to book on line !

I've booked with them for this year. Maybe they are just doing the year's ones before booking the next lot.

They have flights to Kittila operating from Cardiff, East Midlands, Gatwick and Manchester as well as Rovaniemi from Belfast, Bournmouth, Bristol, Birmingham, Dublin, Edinborough, East Midlands, Exeter, Glasgow, Humberside, Gatwisk, Manchester, Doncaster-Sheffield, Newcastle, Norwich and Southampton through December, but it's not like previous years where they operated a full winter programme. Most of the flights are day trips or limited run Lapland tours.

Have been checking again and Lapland seems limited to Inghams and even they have cut back on where you can fly from.
Am really fed up about it as we really wanted to return this year -----------
