I don't know if that comment is aimed at me or not, as I am the only person who has replied so far then I think I can presume it is. So I will just point out that I receive no monetary benefit from people who book using my links. They are there to help Florid newbies through what might seem like a baffling maze but is really quite simple once you get going.

Thanks for the help - to be honest I am too lazy to do it all myself, but I will get my finger out and make the effort - this will probably be a one off holiday for all of my family together befor teenage daughter goes off to uni so want it to be really special.

I would like to confirm what Alison says regarding monetary rewards for car hire or tickets booked through villa links on orlandovillas .No money passes hands at all simply rewards points which we as owners cannot exchange for anything and which guarantee no bookings either .It is simply a way of trying to promote the homes and the listing site.

Hi, need some help. It is my husband's 50th next year and we we are wanting to go to Florida. Two adults and one child aged 10 is our family and 2 adults and 1 child aged 12 which is my sister's family. We want to go to International Drive, to a hotel for two weeks. Our family then want to go to the coast for a week on our own as my husband water-skis. Can anybody help me with:

1. A good family hotel for us to stay in at International Drive.
2. The best "beach resort" for our week for the water-sking.

We will be sticking to a budget and need good value for money!!
