Which resort would you suggest for October?

Looking for a week away in mid-October and I fancying Turkey for the first time as there seems to be plenty of choice.
I don't want anywhere with English bars/food/karaoke etc., would prefer a location where we can get out and about to see some local attractions. Which resort(s) you Turkey experts would suggest?

Fethiye would be my recommendation. I havent been there but Kalkan may suit as well.

Latest Holiday Review:
Riviera Hotel
Side is an interesting resort and its further south than most others so may be a little warmer.
