We are thinking of cancelling our holiday to France this year, and we want to go back to Egypt. We know we will lose money on the french holiday but we miss egypt too much , the sun the people etc etc etc. So at the last minute we are going to cancel and come to the sun!!! If its a diy you want then i have no idea.
But we booked with Portland direct a sister company of thomson and got good deals. Thomson also have a late deal option as well.
Teletext is also a good place for late deals as well from the internet and tv.

Hi Stuart, Longwoods are a relatively small operator compared to the "big boys" but they offer a good selection of hotels and give, in my opinion, the best service. Have a look here http://www.longwoodholidays.co.uk/ then give them a ring if you want late availability. They are always very helpful.

Have you tried Jetline - we always use them - they beat Longwood quotes.
Thanks for the replies, We did go to France in the end (Vendee) We now wish we had cancelled and gone to Sharm, it was awfull!! NEVER AGAIN!!!!
