Highly unlikely you will be able to get Harry Potter in Hurghada - have never seen English books sold there. There is a bookcase near the pool at the Grand Resort and a beach hut on the beach at the Grand where people leave books they have read but most are in German or Russian. Would strongly recommend you take any reading material with you - at least you will have your Harry Potter book to look forward to when you get home!

We fly two days after release - was wondering if there might be a black market opportunity around the pool. I will take advance orders.

There is a pet shop called Beta Market opposite the Seagull Hotel on Sheraton Road, they sell lots of books in English. There is absolutely no chance you will get the new Harry Potter though.
