Myself and my boyfriend, both under 30, visited the Continental Park Hotel in September 2002 for two weeks, and had the best holiday ever.
Reading most of the reveiws on this page, I was expecting nothing but mosquitos and miserable staff, but on the contrary, we had a wonderful time, and I think I only saw one mosquito in the whole fortnight.
The hotel was lovely, so much different entertainment going on, the pool was brilliant, and most of our days were spent lying next to it. The staff were really helpful, and the food was delicious.
All the Thomson trips we went on were brilliant to, although I have to admit that my favourites were Moonlight Riding, and Pirates which were fantastic.
When we managed to get away from all the hotel entertainment, we found refuge in a brilliant bar, called TUCKS which was about five minutes walk from the hotel, past all the shops. Chris, the owner, makes a wonderful night filled with games and karaoke, we spent quite a few nights there as it was so good, definitely worth a look, and so much better than Cheers bar.
Would definitely return to Alcudia, and definitely to Continental Park

My daughter and I have just arrived back from this hotel, our 5th time and are already looking to book for next year. Once again I cannot fault the place. There were a few thunderstorms, but it didnt mar our holiday. The staff were all very friendly and efficient and welcomed us back warmly. The entertainment reps obviously enjoy their jobs and always had a smile for the guests. Well done Nina and Heather you're stars! Even the kiddie reps were happy to join in the fun. The evening entertainment was the best ever: Robbie and Ronan tribute was excellent, Steps tribute was great, just to mention a few. The evening host,'Naughty Nick'(who looks just like Tommy Steele) keeps it all running smoothly and never failed to make us laugh with his own unique, dry humour. The actress Meera Syall (Goodness gracious me, and the Kumars) once told him how naturally funny he was whilst on holiday there 1998. Many guests return to this hotel purely because it is so popular The beach is only across the road, we got to go once this year as we never feel the need to leave the hotel. I'm very biased towards this hotel but truly love it. Any single parents thinking of taking their children abroad, take them here, you wont be disappointed. They'll be kept amused and you will have a great time. Best weeks to go are the last in July, 1st in Aug. See you there.
