Don't some people like to moan!! I have recently returned from my visit to Marmaris and would recomend this hotel a million times over. The hospitality was second to none and the atmosphere was friendly and suitable for multiple age ranges. The hotel staff were faultless and worked extremely hard to ensure our stay was enjoyable. If you are looking for a fun packed holiday in pleasant surroundings you should definately go there and not be put off by other reviews as we nearly were

This hotel is the worst l've ever seen and it's not people having a moan, it's people that have been going to Turkey for years and know if a hotel is clean or not.
Some people just don't mind what they stay in, hey, we don't mind basic as long has they're clean.
Believe me, these are the worst.
We're are not the sort of people who just moan for nothing,even the Turkish people laugh about these apartments so maybe other people that have put reports on here just haven't been to Turkey before.
l will say stay away from the Baris Hotel.
Some people just don't mind what they stay in, hey, we don't mind basic as long has they're clean.
Believe me, these are the worst.

l will say stay away from the Baris Hotel.

The rooms were very small in the hotel, however, most holidaymakers in the apartments had no complaints about the size of their rooms. Our room overlooked the bar area that was very noisey, especially at night.
our towels and bedding were changed only once in 2 weeks, although the maids came in to empty bins every day.
We were staying on a bed and breakfast basis and had a traditional turkish breakfast every morning, (eggs, cheese, cucumber, and bread), yum. Although the food served off the menu was ok.
The hotel staff were great, especially the bar staff. They were very friendly and always smiling.

I have stayed in Baris 4/5 times now,the staff are extremely nice, friendly, happy and very helpful,it's like a family unit there.
I almost feel like part of that unit as they do make you feel very welcome, the food is excellent, my daughter loved the jacket potatoes, and she is very fussy how they're cooked,but as a 5 year old,she knows what she likes,and they were the best potatoes"even better than yours,mummy"she said to me,so they must be nice!!
No doubt about it I will be going back there hopefully within a few weeks and so will alot of other people I met there,as they felt the same as me, loved it, give it a go, you will never know untill you've been there, enjoy,which I'm sure you will......

Me and my familly stayed in the Baris apartments this year in June we have been to Marmaris many times and stayed in a range of diferent hotels.
I think that so far the baris was the best it was such a brilliant hotel with really lovely staff including the manager he was always around and very easy to talk to about any problems that you might have(although we never had any).
As there was 12 of us staying there with two young children we thought we were going to have a nightmare but the staff always kept their eyes on the children if they ever managed to get out of there parents eyes! Which was such a help.
The hotel was absolutley spotless the beds were changed regularly and the apartment was cleaned daily the maids even did the washing up!
The location of the hotel was amazing to it was just far out enough to escape the sounds of the nightlife but within easy reach of it so when you were ready to sleep it was always peacefull.
There was always regular entertainment and the world cup games were also shown!
Overall I cannot fault the Baris apartments everything was absolutley spot on and I will be visiting again in September can't wait to get back its like a home from home !

We stayed in the Baris apartments this year in June it was a great hotel and the staff were lovely it was in a great location, not too far away, and not too close.
The entertainment was great.
The rooms were cleaned daily and the bed sheets were changed regularly.
We would defiantly stay in the Baris again. There was always staff around to help you with any problems you may have (which there wasn't) The Baris is great for all parties (families, couples, singles etc.) We made a lot of new friends and had a lovely holiday.
The Baris defiantly made the holiday worth while. Thanks too all the staff! And we hope too see you all again! love Catriona!

Me, my partner and my son and our friends stopped in the Baris Hotel in June this year. This was the best holiday we have had, we spent most of our time in the hotel because we were half board, the staff were fantastic, we had four kids between us and they couldn't do enough for them, they were all very friendly and would do anything they could to help. The Hotel is very clean and the rooms are really nice and we are returning in October this year and then early next year. I would recommed this Hotel.

I have only stayed at Baris Apart once, but Im soon going back for my 4th visit to Marmaris this season.
I think I might be the first Norwegian staying here, most of the guests comes from UK and Scotland. This is a small hotel, not many apartments and rooms. That what makes it so nice and cosy. You get to know other guests - and of course the friendly staff :-) The guests are a good mix of families with children, couples without children and singles like me.
The apartments are quite big and I find them very clean. The location is in my opinion perfect. Not to far from the beach and the nightlife - but still a quiet area, so u can get a good night sleep if you want to.
The staff will do everything for u. Barman Serdar, Lela, the chef, Cankat, the cleaningladies............. they just make you feel like a familymember. Even if I just stayed here once this season, I always go in to say hi, have a drink or a meal.
The food is good. They have one of the best turkish casserolles I have eaten in Marmaris. Regards to the chef! He also made such a good food on the weekly BBQ.
Other entertainment I dont care about. You see belly-dancers, breakdancers and Micheal Jackson-show everywhere. I have been going several times every year the last 5 years, so Im tired of all the shows. Had fun at the karaoke-night though.
So I will be back in a few weeks, and this time Im staying at Baris again. If you are looking for a nice place to stay for a good price - Baris is the my recommandation :-)

What can I say the hotel was spotless the cleaners were there from early morning till night our rooms were cleaned every day and we were given clean towels daily.
The staff were so friendly and helpful nothing was a bother for them so much so that we keep in touch with them regularly sending emails and phone calls, they were so friendly and great with the children playing pool, table tennis and darts with them so we could relax at the pool and watch them having so much fun.
Although we were self catering we did eat at the hotel a lot and my husband was a chef and showed the chef how to make potato scones so we did see the kitchen and you could have ate of the floor it was that clean. The buffet night they have is well worth the money at
