Hi nogbert,

I was there last year. The hotel is not far from the centre, about 5 to 10 minutes to go. But it is far enough to be in a quiet part of the Sunny Beach, so you can sleep at night before 4.00 am.

The rooms are good and very clean, the staff was always friendly and busy. The food is for english and continental people.

May be, this is a problem for you: 70 per cent of the guests are Germans like me. And there is not entertainment.

We went to the laguna park several times last summer to use the pool. The pool is great especially for kids and has a good waterslide which is free, unlike most other hotels where you have to pay to use the slides.

Although I have not stayed there I would consider booking to stay there in the future. The staff were friendly and helpful.

There is supposed to be a charge to use the sunbeds for non-guests but I didn't see anyone collecting money and there was no problem getting 4 beds together around lunchtime.

I've no probs with Germans in fact if
Germans are in a hotel the place is generally
clean & tidy
as long as I can get a sunbed [lol]
& the pics are great

Thanks for your comments they really helped make up my mind. Was either going to be Wela Hotel or Laguna Park but because of the location and the child friendly pool and of course your comments we chose the Laguna Park.
