Does anyone know when Thomas Cook or flythomascook flights go on sale, I can't find anything for next year yet?

Hi we booked with Direct Holidays who I now know to be part of Thomas Cook but alot cheaper. We are going to Turkey BB (as all inclusive far too expensive) for 3 adults and 2 children for £2280.00 for two weeks and when I asked Thomsons to price match they could not and they quoted £3700!!

I would definitely try them!

its great that 2009 is out now, last year there was some real bargain flights around when they first went on sale.

I am booked for 2009 only problem is is that it is so far away. We are not going away this year as I am at Uni until Sept and my partner starts to teach in Sept. We broke so will have to wait until 17th Aug. But at least its all booked. Gutted at the price but I couldnot find that same place cheaper. We paid £1400 for 2 weeks at Golmar Beach in Icmeler with day flights for 2 adults and 1 child. Hey Ho!!

DIY question - I always try to price flights up and the cheapest I have got is £1000 for 2 weeks at end of aug 09, for 2 adults and 1 child. How do you guy's get cheap flights and diy and beat the tour operator price? I just cannot do it. Maybe I am a little dim. Help!
