We are in our late 30's & early 40's & in june 2004 we (2 couples) went to Argassi in Zante for a week. We stayed at The Katerina Palace. It was so good we went back again in June 2006. This is the only time we have ever returned anywhere as we like to try somewhere different every time. The staff are great. even the owner "Katerina" herself mucks in with everything & makes you feel really welcome. It's not expensive either. Check prices with http://www.thomsonbeach.co.uk & http://www.portlanddirect.co.uk as the price does vary. We stayed both times in the hotel itself bed & breakfast (but it is only contiental breakfast). Although there are also studios for self catering. (Don't know what they are like inside-but they look good from the outside & a lot were only built a couple years ago). The restaurants around the area are fantastic (one of the reasons we returned a second time as there were still some we wanted to try)!
