I'm hoping that somebody out there may be able to advise me.

We have decided to turn our backs on the package holiday and try to do things ourselves. What I need help with is in finding Villa or apartment accomodation which somebody can recommend from personal experience.
La Cale De Mijas has been recommended as an area.

What we are looking for is:
Somewhere frequented by families with a shared pool where the kids can make new friends. (kids 10, 8 & 8 )

2 or 3 bedrooms

within easy walking distance of a beach

Ideally with air conditioning.
