We just got back last weekend and both markets were definately open

Yes Mackies Market is now opened. Opened on Saturday 15 December I believe.
See you at the MD in March, we arrive on 11th

I have been to Inigo's but not Mackies.
Would be interested to know what you particularly like/dislike about each one.

I like Mackies as you walk to it from the Marinha Dourada, which is were we stayed, and it isn't as frantic as Ingos.

Ingos just gets busier every year, I couldn't get over the amount of stalls there this year, we just seemed to keep on climbing up the levels and there were just more and more!

Glad that Mackies is open, got to admit this is the only market we have visited.
If you say that the others are more busier and frantic, then il stick with Mackies
