Barber round LC, PDLA?

Hello all, might be a strange request this one. I keep my hair closely cropped and get it cut just before we go away, but is there anywhere that I can get a grade 1 whilst away. I am there for nearly 3 weeks and it grows longer than I like in that time.

Preferably English speaking so there are no misunderstandings and I get it coloured purple by accident.

I would take clippers but it's a nightmare keeping weight of suitcase down....

Thanks in advance. Flying out a week today so looking forward to it.

Hello,

i am not sure to be honest, but if no one replies to you before you go then i recommend you just ask your hotel reception if they can direct you to one, or failing that ask a local taxi driver.

Hi there thanks for the replies. I am staying in an apartment about 2 mins from the centre of LC.

Yes, asking a local for advice might be a good idea. I have seen a 'salon' near where we stay, but looks a bit upmarket when a 5 minute cheap clippering is all I need.

all the places i know will charge you about 10 euro's for a clip/cut..............might be cheaper to buy a cap!!!

10 Euros is fine if you can direct me to them? Just the convenience will be worth it to be honest. I think it's the food, beer and sunshine that makes my hair grow so quickly.

There's one in the San Euugenio Shopping Centre - just by the escalators where you go down to Mercadona. Charge hubby 7 euros last weekend

San Eugenio shopping centre will be too far if your in los cris.................. there is one on "st elmo" (thats the road behind beach front where bars such as players loung, and the claddagh are)................there is also one at the entrance to the torres del sol complex (thats the twin towers behind macdonalds on las vistas beach)......hope thats of some use to you....... oh and there is headmasters which is on the apollo centre! :tup

Wouldnt it be cheaper in the long run (you can pick up good clipper sets for around £15) cut your hair a day or two before you go, get your partner or someone to have a look and tell you if it needs a bit more off here or there. I have been shaving mine off for the last few years,it isnt as if you want it styled is it.lol A clipper on its own doesnt weigh that much.

Thanks everyone, they should do it.

Pipefitter, yeah, I will get it done just before I go (tomorrow in fact) but I am useless at doing it myself. I end up looking like an escapee from Broadmoor.

My girlfriend wants to sit in the sun, drink, eat croissants and generally not have to groom me!

Leaving next Tuesday and can't wait. 5th time for me, and still love the place.

The nearest one I would think would be Shaun who owns Ripples. He is from Bristol. It is underneath the Cristian Sur in LC but on the side that takes you down to the Princessa Dacil, (nearer to the roundabout at bottom of El Mirador strip) on row where Fishermans Retreat pub is.
Your girlfriend can sit on the sofa outside in the sun while waiting for you.
