My daughter is 16 in early February and we are looking to book a cheap 3 or 4 night break for her birthday as a surprise
There will be 4 of us travelling as she will be bringing a friend with her
We went to Benidorm last New Year and were very surprised by how many of the big bars and clubs were very empty or closed
What can we expect the first week in February - will there be any nightlife outisde of the hotels and will any of the disco bars be open ???
We are also looking at Tenerife but havent been there for years so are unsure as to what to expect there either
If anyone has any thoughts on either resort in early february or a better low budget destination that offers plenty to do by both day and night I would be grateful - I really dont want them to be the only people there age in the town if I can help it

That time of year does see mostly older people, even the comedians joke about the number of mobility scooters about!

Benidorm will have most bars clubs etc outside the hotels closed there will also be mainly elderly people there. One of the canary islands would be a much better choice for your daughter and friend.
