Hmm...even spelling it Binissalem, caused some trouble until I cottoned onto the words "verbena" and "vermar" which presumably mean something to do with harvest...

I'm afraid it's only in Catalan or Castillian, but I think you will be arriving in the middle of the festival, the pdf "progrmam groc 08" has stunning graphics and takes ages to download, but has a timteable in, and you might be able to get a rough idea of what is going on.

The Vermar - grape harvest - fair and fiesta lasts till 28 September, which is the main day of the fair. It started on 12 September and yesterday was the great battle of the grapes - basically a load of people rolling around in grapes and getting thoroughly soaked and dirty. Today there was a grape-treading competition. Next Sunday things start from 10 in the morning, and there will be all manner of local traditions as well as a whole load of wine to sample. The concluding event will be popular local dance at 19:00.
