I have heard lots of things since the change or regulation regarding liquids on planes.
i have seen no official paper of the airport in heraklion or in the uk. thus i cant be sure.
there is always a chance the heraklion one will let you through and not the uk one.
on the other hand u can have all the drinks in the bags that go underneath the plane and not in those that go along with you in the plane.

basically you can always ask the security in the uk airport so u know what is happening and when u arrive in her airport the local one to.
if the reply in any of them is negative then just have the drinks in your bags and not with u.

We flew from Heraklion to Gatwick on 30th Sept and there were no restrictions on taking liquids on to the plane. We flew with Monarch.

Thanks , we are flying Monarch as well.

we flew back first choice airways and was able to take liquids on board too. heraklion airport is a nightmare though!
