Hi
Staying in Candolim for 3 wks & want to explore the South for a few days. We usually get a taxi to Palolim & if we are travelling local in the North, we catch the buses.
This time we fancy catching the buses to Cavessolim & other area's down the South.
I think we will have to catch a bus to Panjim, then a bus to Margao then to cavessolim. Does anyone know if thats right. Also do we get of the bus at the terminus in Cavessolim, to be near the guesthouses/restaurants?
If we decide to go to palolim from cavessolim, do we have to go back to Margoe?
Any tips, on buses & guest houses.
Hope the above makes sense....
Thanks
AJ

hi, not really sure about buses to cavelossim, but there seemed to be plenty going to margao, you need to get off the bus at Mobor beach rather than cavelossim, its where most of the hotels and guesthouses are, its just a little further down the road. we use taxi's to get to palolem, cost's about £10 for 6 hours or so, or you can catch a little ferry across the river Sal and then on to a village on the main north/south road, and probably catch a bus from there.
