We went to Majorca 5th to the 9th of Dec last year and stopped just outside of Palma; most of the major tourist areas were dead, we drove around our fav haunts and found 90% of places closed, Cala D'or for example was pretty much bubble wrapped till the summer, the weather was fine about 16C and we could eat outside at lunch but evenings were a bit chillier obviously.
I would thoroughly recommend staying in or near to Palma we though it was glorious for that time of year, lovely Christmas lights and great shopping; in fact we're going back again this December for a week as well as our usual trip to Cala D'or in September.
