DIY is the way forward. Getting cheap flights is the secret for me, the most I have ever paid was £56 (return to Alicante), which means you can book better hotels and still have a cheap holiday.

Just back from a DIY holiday to Benidorm.
2 Adults & 2 Children......
Flew Easyjet Belfast-Bristol-Valencia..... hired a car and drove down to Benidorm.
Stayed 10 days in the Gremolis 22 apartments... right up on Lavente Beach.... absolutely excellent.
Returned via the same route and had the holiday all for 855 EURO !!!
The same holiday with the agents was over 1300 GB Pounds... so we saved a mint.....
Would thoroughly recommend this approach.... so much so that we have booked flights to Malaga during the Halloween break and I think we will do a 7 day break in Fuengerola for about 550 EURO.....
