earthquake hits Greece

Have just heard on the news that a fair size earthquake has just hit mainland Greece. Didn't catch what it measured on the richter scale but was significant enough to be felt as far away as Cairo in Egypt. Don't know any more at the moment.

that par of the med [greece/turkey] receives almost daily earthquakes, most are so mild they are not noticed, occasionaly they get a fairly strong one, its nothing to worrie about nearly all properites built in recent years are quake resistant and the older ones have been through it before and are still standing
