When we flew with them in December it was hot Bacon Baguette, hot paninis, selection of cold sandwiches. They also had pringles, chocolate bars, kettle crisps, and also bags of those share bag chocolates like minstrels ec. When we checked in we were given a voucher to get £1 off meal deals. So made a bacon baguette and a cup of tea only £4.50 thought that was pretty reasonale.

TAH-M,

Having Just Returned From Flying With EasyJet, There Is The Usual Selection Of Snacks (Chocolate Bars, Crisps) And Drinks. There Were Bacon Baguettes On The Way Out, Allong With Cold Sandwiches. On The Way Back They Were Offering Hot Paninis (Mozzarella and Tomato [if i remember correctly, it was a late flight) :think .

There Are Also Meal Deals That You Can Purchase Which Combine Food And Drink, With A Small Saving On Buying Them Seperatly.

PS. The Newer Aircraft (A319's) In The Fleet Are Nice, Allthough Not Much Difference, Most Noticabley The Lighting Panel Above Your Seats, I Was On G-EZDN Outbound And It Was Obvious That It Was Newer Than The Inbound Flight Last Night On G-EZAA, (Which Is Only 2 Years Older)

Can anyone tell me if you can carry pushchairs on Easyjet in addition to your baggage allowance as you can with other airlines?

I've checked their site but can't find any reference to pushchairs at all.

jan400,

Pushchairs are in addition to luggage. You can use it up to boarding gate, then they'll be put in the hold.

Easyjet adds more Luton routes

Three new routes are to be started this summer by Easyjet from Luton.

The budget carrier is to serve Milan and Mahon from July 6 and Montpellier from July 7, ringing the carrier's route network from the Bedfordshire airport up to 34.

Fares for the new routes start from at £26.99 (£47.58 return) including tax to Milan and Montpellier. The Menorca flights start at £28.99.

Milan will be served six times a week with Montpellier and Mahon having three flights a week each.

The airline's UK regional general manager Paul Simmons said:
"Milan, Mahon and Montpellier are fantastic additions to our low-fares services from Luton, these exciting destinations have an appeal for everyone whatever their budget and holiday needs."

Hi,

Check in procedures Gatwick. Two of us are travelling next week with only one hold suitcase.

Does anyone know if one of us has to check in on line and the other at the airport or can we both check in at the airport?

Thanks
Jean

You can both check in at the airport Jean.

just back from our flight and noticed one significant difference from the norm, we were a fraction over the 20kg weight limit for the hold luggage and we had to pay :cry SO BE WARNED(usually not a problem) this was happening to a lot of passengers on our flight. Must be a new policy as lo and behold in the April magazine they are selling a digital baggage weighing device !!!. you don't think Michael O'Leary is the new C.E O. :rofl

Easy jet have become a lot stricter over baggage weight over the last year. We have seen many people turned back to weigh hand luggage as well.

I was under the impression that they did not weigh hand luggage and was only bothered about the size.

I don't think all airlines weigh hand luggage, unless it looks a bit heavy. Our hand luggage was weighed at Alicante a couple of weeks ago.

Leyland Lass,

All airlines are starting to clamp down on hand luggage and weighing is starting to become the norm, especially now that many only take hand luggage to avoid the checked-in baggage charges. A bulging bag will often raise suspicion and lead to weighing whereas a small bag that is obviously well within limits wont. Excess baggage charges are being applied more thoroughly as airlines struggle to keep afloat. There's also the safety aspect; overhead storage areas on aircraft have a designed weight limit (A319 / 737 normally about 25-30kg but depends on aircraft type) and space is often at a premium. The rules are there for more that just making a few extra £££. The last thing you want is the locker opening during turbulence or landing because it's bulging and too heavy and dropping on someone.

Hi,

Can I assume it is still ok to take small cases with wheels- within the size range-as hand luggage?

JeanM,

As long as it's within the hand luggage limits (details on EZY's website), that's fine.
