I need some advice on travel plug adaptors. Does Egypt take the round 2 pin adaptors or the flat 2 pin adaptors?

Round - same as sockets in Europe...
Hi just got back from Egypt - round 2 pin plugs HOWEVER some sockets were the 'thinner' round pins. By chance I had both types with me - until then hadn't realised that my two adaptors were not the same!
Easier to buy them there, that way you get the right ones, some hotel rooms are older and require different ones to the newer versions. In resort 50p.
