Never stayed here before,but visited Elounda on previous holidays to Crete...LOVELY,and if I remember correctly,it's about 50 miles from Heraklion airport.

its a great hotel located in a very nice and quet place! from the center of elounda the hotel located in 30 minutes walk, the hotel is not for children!!!!!!!!!!!!! its for romantic holidays, couoles, there was almost no entarttaiment only greek evening once a week. the sea is very calm there!! its located in the bay so no waives but there is strong wind sometimes. if u walk to the ceter of Elounda u will find there small shops and bars and tavernas. in Plaka there are great fish tavernas! the bottom of the sea is sandy. the hotel is a bit on the hill but for healthy people no probelm. not tooo much climbing, but for people whoi are disabled it can be problem. the beach is very small but bery special and cosy and there were chairs empy even in august,,,so it was not a problem to find a place for sunbathing, only at 12 am many people before 12 very few...and after 5 pm also very very few...so it didnt seem to me crowded,,,it was very nice for me
its for very quiet holiday. Agios Nikolaos is very close - 10 minuets max by car,
food was great!
i liked everything there
but for people who like ,much clubbing it can be borring
now the hotel is no more by Grecotel, but i hope it will not loose the quality of service!!
