Disabled Person Holiday Discussions

Are you disabled or know someone who is? What are your experiences of hotels and resorts as a disabled person?

Isn't it great when an airline gets it right. I must say though
that I had an excellent experience with First Choice. I booked
them going from Glasgow to Paphos and asked for wheelchair
assisstance. I was taken right to the aircraft door with my chair
then my chair went into the hold. Once we got to Paphos my
chair was brought to the aircraft door and I was taken down in
a lift. A very nice girl took me to collect my baggage and meet up with my son. On the return journey I was met at check in and taken straight through to departures where a bus with a ramp for wheelchairs took me to the aircraft and a lift took me in my chair up to the door. At Glasgow my chair was brought tothe door for me and someone took me to gt my baggage and out to the concourse where I was met by my husband. You see I'd gone alone and First Choice couldn't have done more. So hats off to them too.
