My advice...don't take a car into Palma. It's full of one-way streets, tow-away zones, restricted parking and impatient Spanish drivers. Take the bus and relax with a nice lunch complete with vino.

Anyone else with a tip? It's a case of have sat nav will travel!

You've got more chance of winning the Euro millions than getting free parking in Palma, why not just use the underground parking which is cheap and plentiful. I tend to use the one on Av Argentina which is handy for the city centre and just across the road from The Block House; a great steak house which I also recommend.
