sorry i think its marhaba club part of a complex of four hotels including tour khalef thanks karen.
I've stayed at all of them over the years and they seem to have quite a mix of guests of varying ages. Whichever one you're staying in you can use the others for the entertainment if you fancy a change. I'm sure you could upgrade to A/I if the hotel offers this, which I'm not sure it does, but unless you or your children want a constant supply of drinks and snacks I don't really think it's worth it in Tunisia, as eating out is not expensive and it does give you the option of tryiing local eateries and bars.
Nice to see you back in harness Briar.
I do hope you've had a good break and are now fully rested and ready for the fray.

Hi we have been to Tunisia for the past 2 years and stayed on this complex (1st time Marhaba beach, then last year Tour Khalef) my son was 14 when we first went and we both loved it, the entertainment team were fab and really went out of their way to include all kids of all ages in the activities, and the entertainment of a night was excellant for both kids and adults, when we stayed at the Tour Khalef last year, the team at the Tour Khalef didn't engage as much as the team at the Marhaba and there was occaisions were my son was very bored (but also considering he was at the lovely age of 15, a wonderful hormonal teenager, lol) all of the hotels did have a variety of ages from little uns to teenages, son did mate up with a few lads on holiday so some of the boredom was taken out of his little heart hahaha.
I also agree with Aslemma, I found it cheap and we didn't upgrade to A.I but then there was only me and son. Also you can go through to the other hotels on the complex to see what entertainment they have on of a night.
We went quad biking, OMG what an experience, well it was for me, lol.

I am also off to Sousse for the first time this year and am staying at the Hotel Marhaba, Sousse, which is part of the same complex. When are you going?
Thank you for your reply asleema much appreciated.Have you got any info on the marharba hotel all i know is that it is on the beach which one would you recommend the tej marharba or the marhaba hotel lookin to book sometime this week many thanks christine
I am staying in the hotel Marhaba and found this website helpful:
http://www.marhabahotels.com.tn/index_en.asp
It has information on both hotels.
I chose the hotel Marhaba as there are more facilities, you can use the facilities of three other hotels and there are things for children to do there.

I think you've definitely made the right choice Linda. TheTej is a higher star rating but, unlike the others, isn't actually on the beach. Also, the facilities at the sister hotels in the complex (Beach, Marhaba and Club) should ensure that you all find something to enjoy.
