Thomson (out of Corfu?) and MSC (Venice) certainly do E Med cruises that don't call at either Turkey or N Africa, and probably so do Costa. You need to read the brochures carefully, however, because both companies also have similar cruises that *do*, certainly Turkey (e.g Istanbul).

Cruised this year on the Grand Princess. Flew to Rome and returned from Venice. Called at Monte Carlo, Naples, Livorno, Santorini, Katakolon, Athens, Corfu, Mykonos and Kusadasi. That is only one port in Turkey and she could stay on the ship if she didn't fancy the town. The excursion from Kusadasi is to Ephesus but we didn't do that. We just wandered the town and went back to the ship early. Shopkeepers are a bit pushy which makes me less inclined to buy.
