just got home yesterday and had a brilliant time.stayed at the phoenix park for the second time and it was better than last year.went to aswem twice and nearly couldn't get out of the sea because of the current and got lovely big grazes on my legs because of the rocks but knew better the second time.lovely shack called seaview.they had nice huts for 800r per night.went to panjim on the ferry for the first time and it was great fun.ate in a cafe used by locals and it was very good.used gemini,stringfellos,club21,and francescos which was the best. stayed there all day and night,ate lunch and dinner plus loads of kingfishers,milkshakes,few g&ts plus a bottle of champagne(sula-very nice) fruit salads and flambeed bananas all for £11 each.they even took us back to hotel in their taxi for free at 1.30am with a gift of fruit. ate in flambees,floyds ,stonehouse,mai tai,indiana and bomsucesso-which was the worst .also had 2great nights at sendra in calangute where they had a martial arts and sword balancing evening-very entertaining.we felt it was everybit as good as the three previous holidays if not better.not as many beachsellers this year.prices are still very low and the people are still just as friendly.they dont like the russians who were there in force.still love goa as much as the first time-wish i was still there and cant wait to go back.anyone going for the first time dont be put off by negative views -you will love it.haven't met anyone yet who doesn't.by the way flew with thomsons and they have extra legroom and seatback entertainment as standard.
