Hi all
Me and my partner will be staying in Lerapetra for 7 nights from 19th May 06 on an all inclusive basis at the Petra Mare Hotel. I have read many reviews and searched many sights but can not find any information on things to do in and around Lerapetra, we are not ones to spend 7 days by the pool. Could someone please give information on what there is to do, my partner is a keen fisherman and if public transport is good to travel to other parts of the island.

hi we been to petra mare hotel a couple of times the town itself is very qiuet there are plenty of trips going from the hotel but we found it best to hire a car the island its self is beautiful the beaches are pebble but if you drive round the island you will found some lovely spots with tavernas and small beach the people are wonderful i really envy you
