I would sympathise Graham except that my friend got a return flight from Glasgow recently with TC for under £80 and I haven't seen prices like that down south for ages.
I have never seen anything like that either just having a quick look at TC and you can get a single for £80 without luggage, add luggage and it becomes £230 return, still not too bad a price.

You can choose your seats at any time, not just up to 28 days in advance.
My friend definitely booked a return as she was going out to sort out some business and has a hospital appointment in Scotland a couple of days after she returns. It was however a last-minute booking with no hold luggage as she has an apartment in Hammam Sousse.
