We have previously been to the western Algarve and would now like to try the eastern side.It's difficult to find a variety of accomodation in Monte Gordo ,especially packages, so any help about where to look and also any info on Monte Gordo itself would be very welcome.Thanks

We stayed in MonteGordo last october and realy enjoyed the town.A wonderful beach very long and sandy.The town is very laid back and on the quiet side,if you like clubbing its not for you.There ia a casino that has entertainment for 10 euro including a drink,a first class show with a band on before and after.Plenty of very reasonable cafes and bars ie coffee and brandy 1.5 euros a pint the same.we stayed at the Vasco da Gamma hotel and enjoyed the position on the beach and the food.3 star half board £20 a night booked through Wintersunshine holidays
