Flew on the inaugural, and happy to report fully-booked, easyjet service from Belfast on Tuesday... operates Tuesday and Saturdays so came back last night via Gatwick as I was only there for newspaper review purposes... pre-booking has been good, say the airline, and it offers another short or long stay break option from Northern Ireland.
Had been in Malta before, but only saw the airport, hotel and football stadium... this time our party were treated to a whirlwind tour of the sights. Was very impressed, particularly with the historic sights and restaurants, not to mention the prices... 2.80 euro a pint... just want to flag up the service, for now...back later with a full report... now posted below
